This week we learned about Bar Charts and Energy. In the begining of this lesson I really did not understand ANYTHING about energy. Now, thanks to going in for extra help with Mr. Finley, I believe I'm a Science Wiz. (Not really :p But I did learn A lot!)
If I could go back in time I'd reteach myself how to find power. You know. M * 9.8 * A / T = W. It is a hard equation. And took me a long time to understand. Like with the problem on our last Science quiz, a Boy is pushing a 5 kg rock up a hill for 600 m. How much energy does he exert? This problem was extremley hard. But Now I know, you'd have to know the weight of the boy. [In the problem it was a car] and how much the distanse he travelled. It is extremley inportant to know the rate things fall at. So, by saying "9.8" you know it's EARTH, because that is Earth's falling rate.
