Friday 9/18/09- Blog.

1)
Q-What science ideas did you learn?
A-This week we learned about light. We learned how light bounces off objects; how it can be seen in different ways, and how it's light's rays can go in different directions.

2)
Q-How did you learn these ideas?
A- Well we learned how light bounces off objects and how it can be seen in different ways by takin a laser pointer and shining it and trying to see the beam of the laser. We could use different items to test our experiments of how to see the laser beam. Like using chalk dust see see thr beam. And using walls to see where the laser beam ends. We also took a lightbulb and took some cardboard and put it around the lightbulb. One piece of the cardboard box had a hole in it. We could see by doing this experiment that the light goes in all directions and it can go through the tiny hole aswell as hundreds of directions.

3)
Q-Why is it important to know this idea?
A- It is important to know these idea's because if I ever wanted a job lighting of some sort, I'd need to know how likes work and how they bounce of objects, along with the knowledge of light's rays.
