What science ideas did you learn?

This week in science class we re-viewed Movement and talked about functions.

How did you learn these ideas?

Well, we reviewed the movement ideas by taking a "Partner Quiz." Which was a great idea to share opinions on things. It made it much easier, because two heads are better then one! We learned about functions by talking about how things move on graphs, by looking at all the graphs we observed how things change in speed and time.

Why is it important to know this idea (What real world application is there)?

It is important to know about functions because it tells about us how things are moving. If I was a Train Conducter and I needed change the tracks for two different trains I would need to know how fast each train travelled so I could think of when to change the tracks.
