What science ideas did you learn?
This week in science we started a new unit; Force!! Force is how objects act on other objects, accelerating or deaccelerating. Force can go anywhere.
How did you learn these ideas?
This week we learned about force by Mr. Finley driving his car onto the blacktop and putting the car in "Neutral" so we could push it. So, everyone got on one side and shoved the car, making the car begin to accelerate at an accelerating speed, then turned into a constant speed. Eventually, we had distrubed enough force to get the car moving by itself.
Why is it important to know this idea (What real world application is there)?
This is important to know in real life because if my car had run out of battery and I had to restart it, I would know that forces can push the car so I can start driving it and fix it.
